My latest version of the VR prototyping video. I made a sign for a RV camping site called Heartland hills. I was using a special type of 3D carving router bit that I found at Amazon. I think it came out pretty cool! Here is a video of me just explaining how I designed this project.
My friend Thomas, from the Airbus, commissioned me to work on a little sign they wanted to hang on their lobby. Here is the quick video of how I made and painted this project.
When I was working on this project, I was infatuated with this one girl, Roxanne and I wanted to go on a helicopter ride date ,so I asked Thomas. He agreed that I can have a helicopter ride in Australia and use of the biggest helicopter pilot training simulator in the world! Unfortunately Roxanne dumped me ,so I couldn't fulfill my dream helicopter date, but Thomas gave me few hours of flying lesson which was one of the awesomest experiences of my life.
One of the biggest, awesomest helicopter flight simulators in the world!
Roxanne : My grandmother told me, at the end It's not the amount of money you make that matters. It's the connections and memories you make with your friends and family that matters the most. Mike : Hmmm.... ? ? She's right ,but you also need money to experience those memories too
My friend Mr.Sakai from 653 cafe asked me to design an owl up on the tree branch, here is how I did it! Climbing tree is fun!
My friend Matt from the video game bar Space station, commissioned me to recreate the Marble Madness game stage. Physics simulation was the most challenging part of this project, I wish I can fabricate water simulation next. Some one flagged it, so you cant see hehe
I love, love, love, love, love the Golden retrievers ,so I made him! See, watch! They are the fluffiest, and the cutest.
Have you ever had a dream ,so real you can`t tell if it is real or a dream?
All of the time bro, all of the time....Turning your ideas and dreams into reality, that is what my lab is all about! I first saw some one using the Google Tilt brush to paint in 3D and I thought OMG!!!! I have to use this for my CNC projects!! This was when I first started researching few years ago. I came a long way...
I attached my 360 degree panorama camera to my toy drone and flew it around the beach.
I love how you can experience what it would look like if you are in the drone.
If this is possible , I can think of all kinds of applications, like high rise building cleaning and painting!
Just scan the building, and have the drone to follow along the Bezier curve path. For all of my 2D graphics I use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Printer I used for this project was Roland DG large format printer.
